HR doesn't understand my open job position

A big project is coming up and one of the best on our the team has put in their notice. As a manager who cares for their well being we’re happy to see them grow and find opportunities, but pulling our hair from the stress of the timing.

Our HR department has sent the generic job description for review but the position has outgrown the original description. After a few days, we finally begin receiving new candidate resumes but it’s clear there’s a disconnect between the job description and what’s needed for the team.
